Tofu-balls

Makes great appetizers for a party or potluck!

I know, perhaps a little too many vegan recipes here… I’m thinking of going FULL-TIME, guys! But anyways, here’s a recipe using everyone’s favourite: tofu! No? Oh, c’mon, who doesn’t love tofu?

Normally I find it a bit distasteful when all vegetarians/vegans (from now on, I’m grouping them together as VEGS) eat nothing by fake meats, but these I could see myself eating:

Makes about 15

  • 270g extra firm tofu
  • 1 onion
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 0,5 dl flour
  • 0,5 dl breadcrumbs
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp basil
  • olive oil for frying
  1. crumble tofu and chop the onion & garlic
  2. add flour, breadcrumbs and seasonings. Mix with a hand blender.
  3. Form the batter into small balls and fry them in olive oil.
