I’m just your average Canadian teenager, except I don’t bide my time drinking maple syrup while riding my moose!

No, I bide my time looking into the healthiest new recipes, foods and exercises!

I first started looking into the health scene when I realized I was overweight – really overweight. I was only twelve years old and weighed (gulp) almost 140 lbs.

Shocked? You should be. I now spend my days looking for ways to prevent childhood obesity. It brings down your confidence, popularity (but who cares about that?), and your activity level.

Now, I’m not model skinny. I’m 13 now, and I’ve shrunk down to a healthy weight. I really should have more activity in my day too. But nobody’s perfect, right?

I first thought of starting a blog just a few weeks into my 9th year of elementary school – Grade 8. I suggested to my aunt on our way home from Church one Sunday that she should start a blog, being the extreme health-freak she is. We soon forgot all about the subject, but I decided to give it a whirl . . . and now, here we are.

I hope you’ll check out some of the things I have to say, and the healthy recipes I post. Feel free to suggest anything! I’m always on the lookout for new friends and fellow food bloggers to discuss the latest healthy cooking with!
